  El recorrido personal tiene una gran influencia en como vemos el mundo que nos rodea, e inexorablemente, en como interpretamos los acontecimientos que vivimos. Dos mujeres, coetáneas, influyentes dentro del movimiento feminista, que remaron juntas pero con dos miradas distintas a la hora de ver la cuestión de las mujeres. Donde Friedan, aboga por trabajar por la igualdad. Millet, resalta la necesidad le liberar a la mujer. Si la primera favorece el encuentro entre los sexos, la segunda, la dificulta.

  Un pequeño recorrido de sus vidas, a partir de sus propias autobiografías, nos permiten entender sus diferencias teóricas a la hora de explicar la situación de la mujer. Betty Friedan, en su libro, “Mi vida hasta ahora” (2003), Y Kate Millet en, “Viaje al manicomio” (2022).

  Psicodramáticamente, esta comunicación sobre intervención, abre la mirada, ya que tener presente las dos perspectivas puede ayudar a la directora a la hora de formularse unas hipótesis, entender y ver lo que puede estar pasando en la escena y llegar a otro nivel de profundidad en los doblajes.

  Personal experiences greatly influence how we perceive the world around us and, inevitably, how we interpret the events we live through. Two contemporary women, influential within the feminist movement, rowed together but held different views on women’s issues. While Friedan advocates for working towards equality, Millet emphasizes the need to liberate women. The former promotes the meeting between the sexes, whereas the latter complicates it.

  A brief exploration of their lives, based on their autobiographies, allows us to understand their theoretical differences in explaining the situation of women. Betty Friedan, in her book “My Life So Far” (2003), and Kate Millet in “Journey to the Asylum” (2022). Psychodramatically, this communication about intervention broadens the perspective, as considering both viewpoints can assist the director in formulating hypotheses, understanding, and seeing what may be happening in the scene, leading to a deeper level of insight in the enactments. I also find it important because it can open doors for proposing future workshops.
