En este texto se va a reflexionar sobre la necesaria incorporación de la perspectiva de género en la docencia en Psicología. Ello implica ofrecer al alumnado los elementos críticos necesarios para poder entender el porqué de la ausencia de mujeres psicólogas y sus aportaciones científicas en la historia de nuestra disciplina, hecho que queda reflejado en su omisión en los textos ofrecidos y recomendados para el estudio. Para ello se analizará el concepto de androcentrismo en la ciencia, y también se revisarán y rescatarán algunas fechas y nombres claves de pioneras y el contexto en el que vivieron, y se valorará cómo, a pesar de todas las enormes dificultades, consiguieron entrar en las universidades, facilitando el camino a las generaciones futuras.
This paper will reflect on the necessary incorporation of the gender perspective in psychology teaching. This implies offering students the critical elements necessary to understand the reason for the absence of women psychologists and their scientific contributions in the history of our discipline, a fact that is reflected in their omission in the texts offered and recommended for study. To do this, the concept of androcentrism in science will be analyzed, and some key dates and names of pioneers and the context in which they lived will also be reviewed and rescued, and it will be assessed how, despite all the enormous difficulties, they managed to enter the universities, facilitating the path for future generations.
